Support for Missionaries
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” – Matthew 28:19

Some missionaries travel to plant churches while others have a local charge to spread the word and help others less fortunate. In Acts 13:2-3, the Holy Spirit called Barnabas and Saul to be set apart for missionary work. For those who the Spirit leads to serve as messengers of the Gospel, whether they are Morning Star members or other brothers/sisters in Christ, we support them and their missions.

Kyle Joe Hicks
Street Missionary
Morning Star Church supports the local mission of Brother Kyle Joe Hicks’

Youth and Street Ministry

, which provides outreach to veterans, youth, homeless and others less fortunate in the inner-city of Detroit. Morning Star Church supports this mission through collection of in-kind gifts and financial donations.
MsDonald Family
Missionary to Spain
In 1982, local Christians

David and Florence McDonald

became missionaries to Spain through the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Agency. Over the years, Morning Star Church has developed a relationship with the McDonalds and supports them on their life-long mission to spread the Gospel in a region of Europe where Christianity is fading. The McDonalds are bringing Spaniards to repentance and salvation through many unique ministries such as a baseball youth ministry, teen and children’s programs and more.
Williams Family
Missionary to Wales
Morning Star Church is the sending church for Richard and Melinda Williams
, who are missionaries to Wales through the Commission to Every Nation. The Williams family is currently preparing to serve as full time missionaries. In 2011, Richard was working as a youth pastor when the Holy Spirit convicted him to plant a church across the pond in Wales, where Christian churches are scarce. Morning Star members are supporting the Williams family through prayer and financial support.
